The Sales Development Representative is responsible for identifying and qualifying opportunities for Business Directors within the commercial team. This position lays the foundations for a successful consultative sales career within Quill for candidates willing to work towards that goal.

  • Missions

    You will be responsible for achieving the following KPIs :
    - Book qualified meetings primarily from Quill’s ideal client profile list (6 per month)
    - Achieve open rates and response rates in line with agreed targets
    - Generate additional opportunities through individual relationships with Quill’s partners,
    as defined in our Partner Programme 

    Generating qualified meetings :

    - Working with Marketing and the wider Commercial team to identify viable
    prospects based on a deep understanding of the industry, our offering and an
    accurate analysis of the prospect’s needs and budget
    - Using our customised prospecting software to keep Quill France front of mind
    with our prospects, delivering the right messages at the right time
    - Qualifying prospects to ensure they satisfy our minimum spend and client
    profile requirements
    - Ensuring a smooth handover of qualified meetings to Sales Director

     Owning partner relationships

    Building individual relationships with key partners from our Partner Programme,
    with the aim of developing an additional stream of qualified opportunities
    - Identifying new partners to include in the programme, and working with Sales
    Director to define the best form of partnership
    - Working with Marketing to inform a partner engagement strategy
     Innovation :
    - Working with the Sales Development team to refine messaging to prospects,
    informed by open rates and response rates
    - Exploring additional contact points outside of calls, emails and LinkedIn to
    increase the effectiveness of our outreach strategy
    - Implementing A/B testing on messaging to demonstrate effectiveness of
    prospecting tactics to the wider business

  • Profil

    - You have at least 6 months experience in a junior prospecting role ; 
    - You have a basic understanding of Digital Marketing, particularly SEO and Content Marketing ; 
    - You have a basic understanding of CRM systems, such as Salesforce, Hubspot or SalesLoft ; 
    - Resilience - you have what it takes to quickly move beyond rejection and on to the next prospect, maintaining a positive attitude ; 
    - Excellent communication - you have strong written and verbal communication skills, able to quickly get to the point in emails and phone calls and effectively explain a complex proposition ;
    - Personable - you know how to make prospects and partners comfortable, and they find you both engaging and credible ;
    - Organisation - you can follow a process, handle multiple conversations and stay on top of a varied and rapidly changing workload without dropping the ball ;
    - Critical thinking - you can quickly identify and overcome blockers and objections, creatively linking a prospect’s needs to Quill’s solution ;
    - French Native speaker preferred and excellent level of English required ;
